The House of Firewalker is a noble house that oversaw the Kanton of Vaud, one of the wealthiest and largest of the Swiss kantons, and the leading state within the Jura District. The House of Firewalker has historically been one of the richest families in Switzerland, operating from their seat in Lausanne, the Chateau de Chillon. The Houses founder was William I Firewalker, who was a magistrate of Lausanne and the wealthiest man in the state. His son, Georges Firewalker, later would become Bailiff of Lausanne, the leader of the city's local government. In 1750, King Alexander created Georges' son, William, as the Count of Vaud which began their ascension to nobility.

Military strengthEdit

Vaud, being the largest kanton in the Jura District, is able to field nearly 8,000 infantry, 1,000 cavalry, and 100 artillery units. They are the second strongest house in Jura, after Dreadre, however they are thought to be equally wealthy, if not wealthier than the House of Dreadre. Their soldiers are among the best equipped in Jura, and thus in Switzerland as a whole.
